Online Program: Tuning in to Kids®
When your child is having a hard time, it's not always easy to know what to do.
Whether it's meltdowns, anxiety, anger, or big feelings that seem to come out of nowhere, many parents are left wondering…
- How can I help without making things worse?
- Why won't they talk to me?
- How do I stay calm when they're not?
Tuning in to Kids® is a practical, evidence-based parenting program that helps you better understand your child's emotions and help them develop their emotional intelligence.

What is Emotional Intelligence?
Emotional Intelligence is about using emotions to guide you through the world. It is about being able to use your knowledge of emotions to make decisions, calm yourself down, manage anger and conflict, help you in your relationships with people, understand what is happening in social situations, and assist you in any aspect of life that involves you and another person.
A Six-Week Parenting Program
Facilitated by Bianca Moran, Psychologist, this six-week group will give parents and caregivers of children aged 3-12 years practical strategies, while also connecting with others who understand the challenges of raising children with big feelings.
Over six sessions, you'll learn how to:
- Understand the emotions driving your child's behaviour.
- Respond to difficult moments with confidence and empathy.
- Help your child learn to recognise and regulate their emotions.
- Set boundaries while maintaining a warm, connected relationship.
- Build your child's emotional intelligence for lifelong wellbeing.
